Promotional Period and Participating Partners

  1. The Promotion runs from 12.01am on 1 December 2020 to 11.59pm on 24 December 2020 (the Promotional Period).
  2. The Flybuys partners who are participating in the Promotion (each a Participating Partner) are all Flybuys partners with whom Flybuys can be earned during all or part of the Promotional Period.

Entry into the Promotion

  1. Members will receive entries into the Prize Draw as follows:

(a) one entry for each transaction made with a Participating Partner (including State Insurance, Europcar, Agoda, Harrisons, helloworld, Kiwi Holiday Parks, Z Business Fuel Cards, and BNZ Foreign Exchange but excluding other BNZ products) during the Promotional Period, where that transaction qualifies to earn Flybuys in the Promotional Period and that Member has notified the Participating Partner before the transaction is concluded that the transaction is a Flybuys transaction. The Prizes and the Prize Draws

  1. There will be 24 prize draws (Prize Draws), one for each day of the Promotion Period.
  2. There are 300 prizes (the Prizes). Each Prize is allocated to a Prize Draw.
  3. The Prizes and the Prize Draw to which each Prize is allocated are listed in the table below.
  4. There will be one winner for each Prize; eg: for Prize Draw 17 there will be 17 winners who will each receive one Prize.
  5. Prizes are not exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  6. The Flybuys Prizes are subject to the Flybuys Membership and Reward Currency Terms and Conditions, available at www.flybuys.co.nz.
  7. Where the Prize is 500 or 1,000 Flybuys (Flybuys Prize), details of what can be purchased with a Flybuys Prize that is converted into Points can be found at www.flybuys.co.nz. Flybuys Store Terms and Conditions apply.
  8. The Prize Draws in respect of the Promotion will take place on 26 January 2021 at Loyalty New Zealand Limited of Level 3, NZX Building, 11 Cable Street, Wellington, and be conducted by Loyalty New Zealand Limited.
  9. Prize winners for each Prize Draw will be randomly selected by Loyalty NZ from all eligible entries in each Prize Draw.

Prize winner eligibility

  1. To be eligible to win in any of the Prize Draws, Account Owner’s Flybuys account details must be complete (including a phone number) and up to date.
  2. A Member will not be eligible to win if that Member is:

(a) an employee or director of Loyalty NZ; or

(b) on the same Flybuys account as an employee or director of Loyalty NZ.

  1. Loyalty NZ may, at its discretion, deem that a Member is not eligible to win with a Prize Draw entry drawn if for any reason that entry has been gained:

(a) as a result of a Flybuys that was collected as part of a prize in a promotion;

(b) as a result of tampering with the entry process;

(c) as a result of an eligible transaction that was made within the Promotion Period, which is cancelled at any time during the Promotion Period or at the time prior to the Prize Draw; or

(d) for any other reason not in accordance with the ways Members can receive entries in a Prize Draw as set out in clause 4 these Terms and Conditions.

  1. Unless Loyalty NZ otherwise agrees, to be eligible to win a Member whose entry has been drawn must consent to their name and/or image photograph being used on Flybuys’ Facebook page or the Flybuys website for an unlimited period of time, without remuneration, for the purpose of promoting the Promotion (including any outcome) and the Flybuys programme.

Prize winner notification and announcement

  1. Loyalty NZ will make reasonable efforts to notify winners that they have won (using that winner’s contact details recorded in the Flybuys membership account records).
  2. If for any reason Loyalty NZ has tried but failed to make contact with the winner by 5.00pm on 10 February 2021, Loyalty NZ may, at its discretion:

(a) deem that winner to have forfeited their right to the Prize; and

(b) draw another eligible winner in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Allocation and distribution of Prizes

  1. Loyalty NZ shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure that the Flybuys Prizes are credited to each winner’s Flybuys account within 10 business days of the winner being successfully notified that they have won.
  2. For all other prizes (Non-Flybuys Prizes), Loyalty NZ will confirm the winner’s delivery address when the winner is notified they have won.
  3. Loyalty NZ shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure that the Non-Flybuys Prizes are delivered to the address confirmed by the winner within 15 business days of the winner being successfully notified that they have won.

24 Days of Flybuys Scratch to Win game

The 24 Days of Flybuys Scratch to Win game ("Game") is valid to play once per day from 1 December to 24 December 2020 ("Promotion Period"). To be eligible to win a prize of up to 50 bonus Flybuys, simply play the Game during the Promotion Period to see if you reveal a prize.
